Since my left ankle isn’t cooperating, I wasn’t able to log today’s scheduled 4 miles. I’m pretty angry about the whole situation but am choosing not to focus on the fact that I’m hopping (on my right foot only) mad. While I spent the greater part of the day sitting on my butt, I begrudgingly decided to channel my pent up energy in to something positive- a marathon music playlist. I plan on listening to this while I run for hours and hours and hours but don’t want to hear to the same song twice, so I need a lot of material. I’m off to a decent start but would love some suggestions from readers. I’m looking for inspiring (yet not corny) and catchy (without being cheesy) tunes. Think songs that will help me push through extreme discomfort and rage frustration, across the finish line to supreme euphoria and delight. No pressure though.
KKD and I have done extensive research on this topic. LOL! I’ll email you some of my favorites. Sending healing thoughts for your ankle.
Thanks, Paula! I also wouldn’t mind if you’d like to run alongside me and sing for 26.2 miles. 🙂
