WEEK 10 DAY 3

Some days channeling my inner badass is harder than others.  Mornings I wake up to my muscles screaming in agony are particularly challenging.  Mornings I wake up to my quads violently protesting an 8-mile pace run before I even climb out of bed, are a total shit show.  

I wasn’t very surprised that my body responded in such a manner to yesterday’s workout.  What shocked me, however, is that I was able to ignore the physical rebellion and comply with my scheduled mileage.  It hurt and I ran more slowly than race pace, but with the help of PINK and some other musical pals I terminated all 8 miles.  

I spent the remainder of my day sore, surly, and avoiding stairs of any kind.  I even ended my night in tears, of pain not joy, while foam rolling- now that’s BADASS.
