WEEK 12 DAY 2

Apparently my body is staging a coup against marathon training.  I woke at 5:30am with every intention of keeping my early training appointment, only to find my intestines in complete rebellion.  In the end, I waved a white flag (OK it was toilet paper) in surrender and cancelled my scheduled appointment.

I apologize if this is TMI, but would think you’d have realized by now that there is not much I’ll leave unsaid.  It might be gross and unladylike, but is the truth- so there.  I felt like crap, but not so badly that I could justify spending the day in bed.  Anyway, tomorrow is my kid’s first day of school and there was far too much to do.  One definite  sign that something surely was amiss, was that fact that I wasn’t able to consume anything other than 1 banana until early in the afternoon.  For a bottomless pit like me, this was truly noteworthy.  But just as I’m sure I’ll soon recover from whatever ails me, my loss of appetite too will pass.  Until then, your M&Ms are safe.
