WEEK 7 DAY 7

My brain and body gave a collective sigh of relief as I groped my way into consciousness. Rest, relax, lie in bed, sit on my butt day- hooray! Per usual, I rocked recovery even harder than my run. I enjoyed every morsel of time spent sedentary, especially the hours reclined on my beach chair with a book, watching other people swim.

My legs were surprisingly pain-free and I probably could have moved around more than I did. But for once, my mind was calm and content to let my body remain immobile, guilt-free. Cheers to Sedentary Sunday!
