WEEK 3 DAY 2

One of the biggest challenges of training during the summer months is consistently finding time to work out.  During the school year my routine is that of a well oiled machine, while mid-June through mid-August my variable schedule is at best a lightly greased appliance.  Most days there are camps to drive to and from, playdates (although my kids argue they’re too old for this term) to coordinate, beaches to visit and vacations to take.   These are first-world problems I’m lucky to have, but are training obstacles none the less.

I crept out this morning, before anyone else was awake, to sneak in Bootcamp before the day scampered away.  I warmed up on the treadmill, sprinted, vigorously exerted all of my muscle groups, chatted and was home before all were aware I had been missing.  I woke my children fresh, yet sweaty, ready to assume my duties of cruise director and chauffeur for the day.

Please let me know what you think!
